Charismatic Qualities

Charismatic Qualities

  • Good looks.
  • Higher social status embodied in Attitude.

Subconsciously, people are drawn to a person whose Attitude puts him above others. Attitude can be exemplified in, say, how a person speaks or walks or deals with situations (Personality; Aristocracy). When a person speaks with elegance, people subconsciously think: this person is above others (Rank or Status in Society).

  • Spontaneous; Genuine.
  • Intelligence; Smarts; Creativity; Depth (the opposite being ‘Lightness’).
  • Confidence; Courage; Boldness; Toughness.
  • Calm, Cool and Collected under pressure; Highly developed stress handling capacity (Leadership quality).
  • Spiritual Blessings.

Each Concept, Person, Category of object has Collective Unconscious Knowledge’ as well as Collective Unconscious Emotion’ associated with it. This is what Carl Jung termed as ‘Collective Unconscious’, though Jung missed out on the ‘Emotion’ part of ‘Collective Unconscious’.

(Collective Unconscious, a term coined by Carl Jung, refers to structures of the Unconscious mind which are shared among beings of the same Species.)

Imagine, each person having an invisible scale of ‘Collective Unconscious Emotion’ associated with him or her, which determine how people generally feel when thinking of that particular person.

Those who are spiritually blessed, have high degree of Positive ‘Collective Unconscious Emotion’ associated with them. Whenever we think of them, we feel good in our ‘hearts’: “I feel so good when I think of him!”

So, naturally, blessed persons become popular. And when people feel good about a certain person, their Positive Emotion adds up in the ‘Collective Unconscious Emotion’ scale associated with the person. This in turn makes the person more likable.

As people feel attached to them, Spiritually blessed persons become successful Leaders.

  • Kindness; Caring; Emotion; Empathy.
  • Innocence; Honesty.

We do not usually consider innocence, honesty, kindness as ‘Charismatic qualities’. Maybe, we are yet to meet the kindest, most innocent and honest person. Because, when we do meet someone with these qualities, we feel like we can do anything for him!

Kindness, Innocence, Honesty dissolve our Hearts!

  • Speaking, Presentation, Writing: Communication Skills.
  • Sense of humor.
  • Popularity.

If we look closely, getting drawn to a person who is ‘popular’, appears to be a general human trait; can be termed as ‘Social Approval’ or ‘Social Vote’: “Everyone says he’s awesome, so he must be awesome!”

Our evaluation of People, Places and Things are shaped, to a large extent, by Society – what others think, how they evaluate. Very few of us are Independent Thinkers – willing to think for ourselves. For most, it’s like: “Everyone says he’s awesome, so he must be awesome!” or “Everyone says Surface is cool, so Surface must be cool!”

  • Distinctiveness; Mystery.

Mystery gives rise to ‘speculations’: “How does he do all these? … I mean, there must be something special about him!”
